Hello all !

Second leg of my journey between St. Louis (MO) and Tampa (FL).

4. St Louis - Atlanta, Delta B737-800, premium
5. Atlanta - Tampa, Delta B757-200, premium [you are here]
6. Tampa - Newark, United A320, first
7. Newark - Brussels, United B777-200, eco
8. Brussels - Paris CDG, Brussels A320, eco [no FR, similar flight is reported here


If you have read my previous report, you know I just landed at Atlanta airport from St. Louis, and that we are 10min late.

Quick look on all the screens, my flight depart from gate B05.

The signs are clearly marked towards the other concourses.

As in several US airports, the mayor is welcoming the passengers.

In the transportation system : carpet, flower bag, buckle loafers, green pants… US class !

Military lounge ? I didn't know this type of lounge could exist !

A more classical lounge, but no time for a visit.

My boarding pass. It is exactly 18h18 when I arrive at the gate.
The connection was faster than I could ever imagine in a airport. Indeed, I changed plane as easily if i had to change subway !

Boarding starts on time, with SkyPriority passengers first.

I guess that any little delay could have big consequences on a busy airport like ATL.
This countdown is such a good idea !

10 sec later, this woman with the red coat gets up and rush into the First class section…

Conclusion

Company : Good comfort, especially with the extended pitch of this premium section.

Departure airport : excellent connection, very easy to find your way.

Arrival airport : I like Tampa airport very much. It's simple and convenient. It will be more detailled in the next FR ;)

    Thanks for this FR. ATL works fine ! Which is good in your case with a 55 minutes connexion which means a 25 mins transfer...

    How exactly did you get in the Premium Economy ? Was it clearly announced as an upgrade at any time or is it just happening as this row is Premium on the 757 ?

    That's a teaser for the return ;)
