Hi everyone!
Welcome to my Flight Report. In this report, I want to share about my trip back to Surabaya from Kuala Lumpur with Lion Air. I decided to choose Lion Air because it was the cheapest price plus free 20kg baggage compared to other low cost airlines with the same route.
I decided to go to the airport at 09:00 and arrived at around 10:30 by using train. Then, I went inside the terminal building and proceeded to the check-in counter to get my boarding pass and drop my baggage because Lion Air gives free 20 kg check-in baggage. The check-in counter queue was very long and it took a long time because the check-in counter was merged with other Lion Group flight (Batik Air and Super Air Jet).

After I got my boarding pass, the staff told me to go straight to the immigration, so I went to the immigration.

After the immigration, I went downstairs to board the bus to go to the satellite terminal building because the gate for my flight was C14.
After I got off the bus, I went upstairs to Gate C14 and waited for my flight.
My plane still parked at the remote stand because it arrived yesterday from Surabaya.

Unfortunately the flight was delayed for two hours due to waiting for documents.
After two hours inside the cabin which was quite hot with no water because the security officer not allowed to bring water inside the plane and the plane door was opened which made the AC not in optimal condition, the cabin crew gave small bottled water to all the passengers. After that, the door was closed and the plane departed.

After I got off the bus, I went straight to the immigration, then I waited for my luggage for almost an hour because the plane was parked far from the terminal (opposite the runway in the cargo terminal).
After I got my luggage and passed the custom and security check area, I went home by using taxi.
My flight path according to Flightradar24:
Thanks for sharing! I wonder what happened to the wireless IFE Lion used to offer during the pandemic. It seems they didn’t have it for very long.
Two hours delay, waiting for an hour on your luggage without any due water compensation in time and still a pleasant flight? You're generous. :)
