Check-in & lounge
After a seamless check-in at the Emirates counter, I breezed through the TSA screening at Dulles International Airport, which only took about ten minutes. Subsequently, I made my way to the International concourse, conveniently just one stop away on the Dulles underground shuttle.
Emirates utilizes the Air France-KLM lounge at Dulles, which, despite its bright and inviting ambiance, was quite compact and crowded at that time of day. Interestingly, there were no Air France or KLM flights scheduled for departure in the morning.
The lounge featured a smaller, quieter section downstairs, accessible by an elevator, where I spent an hour due to the flight being delayed.

Emirates' new 777 cabin is the first to offer floor to ceiling enclosed suites.
The cabin boasts an elegant color scheme, beautifully complemented by gold accents throughout, enhancing the overall ambiance.
The seat itself is spacious and comfortable, crafted from Mercedes Benz leather.
The aircraft is also the first in the industry to feature virtual windows for the middle seat.
I was offered a Bvlgari amenity kit an eye mask and pajamas.

Thanks for sharing this unbelievable product! Great Report, just like with the last one. My only wish is they had this product on more planes, from memory serves; only 9 planes have this product🤨.
It is interesting that EK use the AF lounge since, as you mention, it's not terribly big, especially the First class section is quite small. The cabin looks beautiful and the catering looks delicious and very well-presented. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for this report!
