Review of Singapore Airlines flight from Singapore to Mumbai in Business

After arriving from a long 19 hour journey from New York JFK on SQ22 I proceeded straight to the KrisFlyer Business Class lounge for a hot shower and a meal during my 2 hour layover in Singapore. I took this route as I booked a BOM-SIN-JFK round trip with a 5 day stopover in  Singapore on the way to New York.

The selection of l food and drinks were really impressive especially at 5am! The buffer offered both asian and continental options but opted for an Asian breakfast. I started with some dim sum 

Followed by a Laksa.

I headed to Terminal 1 on the skytrain to board 9V-SHQ to Mumbai. This aircraft is equipped with SQ's medium haul cabin.

There are 40 seats in Business class in a 1-2-1 configuration. My seat for today was 17K

The seats are staggered

The cabin fits more seats than their Long Haul cabin

Ready for pushback. The seat offers storage for headphones and charging ports. 

Breakfast was served shortly after takeoff with some fruits to start.

I pre-booked my meal using Singapore Airline's Book the Cook option which offers a larger menu available for selection upto 24 hours before departure. I opted for the Nasi Lemak option.

Time for a quick nap to help reset my jetlag.
