Welcome to the third of four reports of my trip to Boston, and the first of two flights on the return leg. Today, I will fly an American A319 from Boston to Philadelphia.

BOS AIRPORT
Welcome to Boston Logan's Terminal B!

Let's head to the gate!

Leftover Christmas decor.

An American flag at gate B11, presumably as a memorial of 9/11?

The A319 taking me down to Philly today is N744P, a 2000-built Airbus A319. It was originally delivered as N744US to US Airways on August 3, 2000. It was then painted into a Piedmont Airlines retro livery, named "Piedmont Pacemaker", and re-registered N744P, with the P presumably standing for Piedmont. After US Airways merged with American, N744P joined American on December 9, 2013. It remained in the Piedmont retro livery until April 2023, when N744P was repainted into American's "Silver Eagle" livery, and the Piedmont livery and "Piedmont Pacemaker" name were transferred to N581UW, an A321. Despite this, the registration signifying the previous special livery remains as the only hint that this A319 was different at one point.

Let's board!

Relics from the COVID era.

ONBOARD
Welcome to American's A319, with 8 Collins MiQ seats in first class.

In Main Cabin, there are 120 Collins Pinnacle seats, of which 24 are sold as "Main Cabin Extra". My seat for this flight is 11F.

Average seat pocket contents of a safety card, IFE guide, and sick bag.

DEPARTURE
Despite some systems having to be reset, it was time to depart Boston!

IN-FLIGHT
WiFi was initially unavailable, although it was made available later on. And if you're wondering, no food service was done today, despite my PHL-BOS flight having some service.

Basic A320 series lavatory.

A BEAUTIFUL SUNRISE
Just look at this beautiful sunrise!

ARRIVAL
On approach into Philly!

Welcome to Philadelphia!

Now, this is where I would put the headset jack. IF THIS SEAT HAD AN IFE SYSTEM!

You can see the outline of the original overhead bins in comparison to these Enhanced Cabin-style bins that were refitted to this A319.

Time to get off this A319. Thank you for reading this Flight Report!
