Hi,
My morning started with a quick priority security check and then to the satellite building of Terminal 2 where I planned to board my flight to the city of Porto in Northern Portugal soo. On the way to the Lufthansa Senator Lounge I spotted a nice A380.

The Lounge was already rather packed but I still managed to find a nice quiet spot at the window.

My breakfast:

This is when 'business as usual' stopped as I received a message on my phone that my flight to Porto suddenly got cancelled just 30 minutes before boarding (with the excuse of bad weather at Porto). I approached the reception / customer service desk of the Lounge and luckily the friendly lady managed to rebook me onto the flight to Lisbon that would depart around the same time (still better than the alternative connection via Frankfurt to Porto late in the evening).
So I left the Lounge and took the shuttle train back to the main building to board my new flight to Lisbon.

The flight ended up completely packed because of many rebookings and I got an aisle seat. Pitch was totally perfect.

We departed about 30 minutes late for a rather long flight today down to Portugal taking 3 hours 20 minutes.
The view from my seat towards the front bulkhead.

About 20 minutes into the flight aperitif service started and I decided to take the Lufthansa signature 'Avionic' cocktail. It tastes really good.

At the same time a nice small printed menu was distributed by the friendly but not extraordinary crew.

Soon hot towels were offered and then the rubbish was cleared before the lunch trolley was rolled out.

As I was in the last row of the Business Class the normal meat dish was no longer available. But the crew still offered me some alternative similar kind of beef dish as I did not really want to try the vegetarian option. More drinks were offered + warm bread from a basket.

The whole meal tasted ok but nothing really great. Still it was a filling lunch on this medium haul flight across Europe. Drink refills were offered frequently throughout the meal service.
I finished my meal with a cup of coffee. This was followed by small chocolates from a nice box.

The rest of the flight was uneventful and we landed at Lisbon Airport with a lots of turbulences because of very heavy winds.
A final view on my plane after leaving the aircraft:

Did they provide you with a further flight to Porto as well?
No as I voluntarily decided to fly to Lisbon and take ground onwards Transport instead of their evening alternative offered directly to Porto via Frankfurt
Oh boy, I see an A321ceo safety card. By any chance, did that A321neo card end up on D-AIDJ (see my FRA-ATH report), and the A321ceo card end up here?
Actually Right - there might have Happened a Mixup with the safety cards
