Hello readers and welcome to part 3 of this trip report series.
If this terminal looks familiar, that's because it was inspired by Dulles Airport's main terminal.

Since my check in was not ready, I went to the observation deck

You can see many planes from here

Sadly, the inside of terminal 1 is not as magnificent as the outside.

Terminal 2 is a lot more spacious than terminal 1

Lunch with a wonton beef soup and edamame beans.

I flew on this exact plane (HL7755) Last year on the exact same route (TPE-ICN).

MEAL
Appetizer: Caprese salad
Main: Chicken with fried rice
Side: Bread and butter
Dessert: Fuits

Appetizer: Caprese salad 2/10
Despite the caprese on top, the bottom was coleslaw. It was disgusting, slimy, and had an awful taste. The only mildly enjoyable part of this dish was the mozzarella.

Main: Chicken with fried rice 10/10
This was very tasty. The sauce paired nicely with the fried rice, and the chicken was not dry at all.

Side: Bread and butter 8/10
The bread was very crispy and the butter was tasty

Dessert: Fruits 5/10
The pineapple was too acidic for my tastes, but the melon was tasty

As usual Asian full-service carriers are in a league of their own. A full meal on a 2h flight is just amazing compared to what we get in North America or Europe, which is either nothing, maybe a tiny snack, or you have to buy something--and I'm talking about full service carriers, not LCCs, though it's becoming more and more difficult to tell the difference anymore. Then there's how spacious KE's seats are compared to most Western Carriers with the 3-3-3 configuration and huge seat pitch vs the 3-4-3 and tight seat pitch of most Western carriers on 777s. Thanks for sharing!
yea unlike singapore airlines for flight less than 3 hours will get a box meal than a normal meal for more than 3 hours and ke b777 are comfortable whether its old or new configuration and i tried the new configuration before on KE646 do check out my trip report also.
