Today, I'm flying aboard an IndiGo Airbus A321neo from Lucknow (LKO)—my home base—to Kolkata (CCU).
This journey offered two completely different weather experiences. We departed Lucknow under beautiful clear blue skies, making for some fantastic views after takeoff. As we approached Kolkata, the weather changed dramatically with heavy monsoon clouds, rain, and stormy conditions. Despite the challenging weather, the pilots delivered one of the smoothest landings I've ever experienced, making this flight even more memorable.

I personally love my homebase and I feel my homebase terminal building is way more aesthetic than Kolkata and mamy other airports I've flown to so thats just my opinion but do leave your thoughts in the comments.
My Aircraft a 4.2 Year old A321neo (VT-ILV) Also I must add it was unsually beautiful clear blue skies day which is rare during this time of the year which is the monsoon season but I thank God to have been blessed with such a beautiful weather to fly in.
IndiGo's growing network and I can't wait for them to get their A350s soon cause then everyone else in Asia and around the world will see what we have been seeing for decades now at our airports i.e IndiGo domination lolz…You will be seeing IndiGo birds at JFK,YYZ,SFO,LHR,JHB,SYD,AKL,NRT to even South American airports I guess lolz
IndiGo offers pre booked meals along wirh the option of buy on board and on this flight I had pre booked the signature classic IndiGo sandwich, the "Paneer Tikka Sandwich" it contains diced pieces of cottage cheese along with vegetarian sauce of mint and spices filled with red,yellow and green bell peppers and is quite filling.All the meals come with an option of Non Alcoholic drinks on domestic flights and on intl flights there is an option of alcoholic drinks as well.On today's flight I had opted for Low Sugar Masala chai (Tea) whcih was for my mom.You can also opt for coffee,cold drinks,juices of many kinds so yeah they have a lot of beverage options to choose from.
After cruising at 33000 FT for over an hour we descended towards a rainy kolkata which looked as lush as it always does during the monsoon season.I must add that the landing on this particular flight by Captain Piyush Arora was soo smooth that I literally had to call the indiGo customer service to convey my feedback ..Im sure if you watch the flight report you will notice that the usual bump which makes the camera a little jerky as we touch down never happens on this flight cause it was soo smooth that we just felt nothing and what makes it more marvelous is the fact that it was a rainy weather…Absolutely amazing landing for sure !
