Welcome to this flight report on JetBlue airways!
From Washington D.C., there are tons of airlines that fly to south Florida. I chose jet blue for price and amenities.
I arrived at Reagan airport by the metro

Check in was fast and easy. Especially with every first checked bag being free!
Heres a view of the tarmac from the Check In level:

I had no wait at security with the TSA Precheck lane.
Heres my plane for the day!
Some more spotting:
Door to the aircraft :

This JetBlue A320 was equipped with Fly-Fi - It was free and very fast!
The seats were very comfortable. The 34 pitch was excellent too!
Each TV has 30+ channels of live direcTV and several movies without commercials. All of it is free.

A barely visible Southwest 737 during takeoff:
The inflight service was friendly and thorough

I chose an arizona iced tea and tera blue chips

Some cool lightening mid-flight:

Arrival in Fort Lauderdale was smooth and easy
I even caught a glimpse of a Norwegian Long Haul 787!

My neighbor departing for New York

Thanks for this FR that really makes you wanna fly on JetBlue.
With the legroom and the free snack it sure must provide a better experience than other legacies.
Thanks for sharing with US this flight . Altough I prefer Virgin America I agree that jetblue is a good airline that compares favorably with most US legacy airlines. Their cabins are much better and flight attendants usually smile more and they have IFE and free snacks ! What else could you ask for ? I also really like their various liveries
Hey there! Nice to see a report from my home airport (I live across the street in Crystal City). JetBlue is definitely a great airline and have managed to do well for themselves without selling out or joining in the merger-crazy of the past few years. The only downside of JetBlue is there is no First/Business class cabin, with the exception of JetBlue Mint from JFK-LAX. Thanks for sharing!
