My flight will take me today on one of MEA’s daiy morning flight to Jeddah for a trip to perform Omra. Our flight today is operated by MEA A320-214 (F-OMRC) which was 6 months old on the flight date.
Our flight will take off from OLBA southern runway 21 then the aircraft will bank to the North East of Lebanon towards Syrian airspace, then will take a pattern south Syria towards Jordan, Saudia, and will land at OEJN runway 34R.
The plane departed Beirut at 9:10 A.M (15 minutes late). Soon we were heading towards the North East of Lebanon via a waypoint called CHEKA. The photo shows the wonderful scenery of Lebanon.
Soon we headed over the Lebanese Cedars Mountains (highest mountains in the Middle East region), and although it was April these mountains were still full of snow.
Soon meal services started as we had a choice of scrambled eggs or knefeh (a Lebanese Special Pastry). I had opted for the eggs. The meal is accompanied with assortments of breads, croissants, strawberry jam, cheese platter, and fruits. Thumbs Up for the best breakfast among all airlines.

Soon we started flying over the dessert of Saudia. Flying over these reminds of Hotel California Song “On a dag dessert high way”.
Latter, we started descending towards Jeddah were we had a smooth landing on runway 34R.
Thanks for sharing this trip with us.
Beautiful views from the air especially the cedar mountains : stunning.
The catering on this flight looks good and tasty and is good for the length of the flight. 5 is an average grade compared to you appreciation, maybe you should reconsider and raise it ?
Too bad you did not have any cabin pics to comment on it but it seems average by the grade you put. Was the confort limited ? Same for the crew , they just did the job ?
I like the livery of MEA and the winglet pics are nice !
Thanks for this FR. The views are really nice !
