This flight is our flight back to Beirut. The operated aircraft is MEA’s OD-MRN received by airline in June 2011. The flight path will take off from runway 34L towards North Saudia, then Jordanian airspaces, then we will enter Lebanon through a waypoint called “LEBOR” then we will head west towards the sea and then we will head south east towards OLBA where we will be landing at runway 3 via waypoint called “RAMLA”.
Boarding the airplane at Jeddah as usual is done through the classic way of buses and stairs. Passengers had to suffer a sun temperature of 42 C degrees before boarding.
Take off was on time and smooth. Soon we reached our cruising flight level of 36,000 feet and meal services started. For today, we had either to choose a fish fillet or a chicken with lemon dish. I opted for the chicken. The dish was accompanied by a tuna salad, cherry cake, and complimentary drinking services.
Soon, we started approaching Lebanon where the high mountain peaks are still covered in snow as seen in this picture.
Soon we started flying over the Bekaa valley (over Arsal ????? ( then we headed west towards Jounieh. Really when I see these pictures, I realize immediately that Lebanon is a God’s masterpiece.
Soon the Lebanese coastline started appearing, we overflew Beirut and turned left to land at runway 3 due to northern winds.
