This TR is long overdue (about 2 years ago). I was going to Tehran with Alitalia via Rome. I mostly got pix from the Toronto to Rome leg as I had a 14 hour layover in FCO and I went for a short trip with Easy Jet to Milan. Therefore when I got back to FCO it was 7 PM and my flight to Tehran was at 9 and as I was so tired that I did not take any pix from the other leg,
I was so impressed with the new Alitalia cabin, the economy seats were very comfortable with a good leg room and it was a very pleasant and nice flight. I let the pix do the rest of talking. Enjoy :)
At YYZ- Check in Hall- Terminal 3- Alitalia flies out of Terminal 3 of Toronto Airport.
View from the check in hall
You can see the tail of AZ to the left :)
Flights to Manila had just started from YYZ back then and I think they are over by now.
This was our gate area, not yet crowded as our flight was full
Around T3 departure gates
A close look at our plane. I love A330s the Most after 747s
TS and BA
Soon we boarded the plane
My comfortable and cozy seat
Great leg room and small IFE boxes
What a cool surprise, suddenly the Philippines Airlines pulled in next to us with their newly launched route between MNL and YYZ
Main Meal- I really like the new branding of their meal trays and dishes
We were above Swiss that they gave us the pre arrival snack
What a lovely surprise, I looked outside of the window and noticed that we are flying right above Geneva, I was so glad that I could see the whole metropolitan area of the city and capture it all in one shot :)
Shortly after we flew right pass Milan and the whole city came to view
Preparing to land in Rome
Hope you enjoyed :)
Toronto - YYZ
Rome - FCO
