Review of Middle East Airlines flight from Beirut to Cairo in Economy

This is one of my trips which I had conducted during 2014. The trip will take me with my dearest mom to Egypt (noting that my dad is Lebanese and my mother is Egyptian).
Me and my mother arrived to Raffic Harriri International Airport at Beirut and finished our check-in process quickly. We headed to MEA’s Cedar Business Lounge. I spent the time spotting the traffic on the tarmac which was a great view accompanied by green terrains in the background.
An Air Algeria B767 is departing while MEA’s A320-232 (OD-MRO) is having a sun bath.

At 16:40 P.M, MEA’s A320-214 (T7-MRC, leased from GCAS and registered in San Marino) arrived from Frankfurt; this will be our plane to Cairo. T7-MRC, parked at gate 10 near OD-MRO.

Later, OD-RMJ, an MEA A321-231 arrived from Amman and parked at gate 14 which is very near to the lounge.

We started boarding at 17:15 (delay 15 minutes), and the push back was initiated at 17:55, while taxing we noted some interesting parked airplanes ranging from MEA A320 planes (including one in SKYTEAM livery, to Qatar Airways A320, and Saudia A330-300.

Soon we took-off via runway 21, and we had a nice view of the Lebanese cost accompanied by a calm view of the Mediterranean Sea.

Since the flight overall duration is 57 minutes, light snacks were offered comprising of sandwiches (cheese or beef bacon).

As we approached the Egyptian coastline, we found ourselves soon we started our descent towards Cairo. We had a great view over the city of Cairo before landing at runway 5L. The landing was a little bit tough due to tailwind, yet the pilot managed to stabilize the aircraft. We disembarked from the airplane via air stairs and we were bussed to the terminal (1) hall 3.
