Holding a free-ticket BCN-IST-RIX-FRA-LIS in economy class this would be last leg of my trip. Bewtween the flights RIX-FRA-LIS I spent some time in the Lufthansa Senator lounge near gate A50 and also ate Business lounge near gate A26, this last one with great view over the tarmac. The A319 from TAP arrived FRA with slight delay and was expected a full load of passengers.

Boarding started just 15 min before departure time and took my seat in Y class, 5F. At the end of boarding another passenger claimed for my seat showing, in fact, a boarding pass also with 5F. The matter was presented to the purser, who asked the handling supervisor to solve the double seating problem. Then I was asked to move to 2F, in business class cabin, which was due to fact that I hold a Star Alliance Gold card.
The aircraft, A319 CS-TTU, delivered to TAP last year, but entered service for the first time with Air Canada, in 2002 took-off at 19h51, 26 min behind schedule.

Heading southwest it was very nice to see the sunset:

About 30 min into the flight crew showed up distributing the menus and towels. Passengers were also asked if they want to drink something before the meal, this come along with some pretzels. The options for the main course were the following: beef terrine with mashed potatoes and baked pear (my choice) or duck cottage pie with sausages and rosemary.

After the dinner some more 1h30 remaining flight, arriving at Lisbon on shedule despite the delay on the departure. Deboarding was by bus from a remote postion.

Thank you for sharing this report!
Nice way to get an upgrade to C :)
Very interesting menu choices on TP, I would not have expected duck to be served. Octopus is a brave choice for appetizer since some people despise it.
Good night tarmac shots on arrival.
Thanks for this report.
The meal is quite good for an European flight and the choice is far from the usual chicken or pasta . Like NGO85 I am surprised by the choice of octopus ( AZ does it too) as many people do not even stand to see it :-).
A good flight with an on time arrival despite a delayed departure is always good news.
