Preface: I went to the Netherlands with a friend whose family is Dutch and had the chance to visit some universities in Rotterdam and Maastricht. We booked the flights one month before the flight date with Transavia, as they are the only airline flying to Eindhoven which is where we would be spending the three nights we would spend in the Netherlands.
We took a taxi to the airport and arrived there around 1h 30min before our departure time.
It was long since I had a flight departing from Terminal 2, which mainly serves low-cost carriers like Ryanair, Wizzair, Transavia, Germanwings or Norwegian.
Views of old Terminal 2.
We went through security pretty fast.
The terminal wasn't busy, only a couple of Transavia flights to Holland and some more Ryanair flights to the UK, Portugal, and Spain.
We took a seat near our boarding gate in order to charge our phones and other devices.

Boarding started half an hour before our scheduled departure time.
We had a long 15-minute taxi from Terminal 2 to runway 25L.
Views of Terminal 2 while taxiing.
Crossing runway 07R.
View of the old Boeing cabin before taking off.
Cabin crew, seats for takeoff.
V1, rotate.
As always when taking off from runway 25L, planes make a sharp left turn towards the sea which allows passengers to enjoy a great view.
Climbing to FL390.
Legroom was decent bearing in mind Transavia is a low-cost carrier, much better than Vueling for example.
Transavia's magazine "Enjoy".

We flew over Marseille, the Alps, Luxemburg and Maastricht en route towards Eindhoven.
After 1 hour and 20 minutes of flight, the captain announced that we would be starting our descent shortly.
The weather in the Netherlands was rather cloudy and misty. Later in the night, having a look at Flightradar, I saw how a Transavia plane bound for Eindhoven from Ibiza was diverted to Amsterdam because of fog conditions in Eindhoven which worsened throughout the day.
Last view of the cabin.
Views of the city of Bent during our descent.
Seconds before landing.
Spoilers deployed.
Raining in Eindhoven. What a surprise! :D
Goodbye PH-HZE!
