EIN - BCN HV6787 Y / BOEING 737-700 - 06/03/2016: HERE
Preface: I went to the Netherlands with a friend whose family is Dutch and had the chance to visit some universities in Rotterdam and Maastricht. We booked the flights one month before the flight date with Transavia, as they are the only airline flying to Eindhoven which is where we would be spending the three nights we would spend in the Netherlands.
We drove to the airport and arrived there at 10 AM, one hour and twenty minutes before our departing flight time.
Views of the airport and the Tulip Inn hotel from outside.

The airport looked new and clean.
As we had done online check-in the day before, we had some time to spare so we decided to head to the Panorama Terrace.
There was only a Ryanair Boeing 737-800 bound for Alicante in the ramp.
Views of the Panorama Terrace.
After around half an hour, we went through security which was a breeze because there weren't many people.
I bought some Dutch cheese at the duty-free and then went to our gate.
There are no fingers in Eindhoven Airport so we had to walk to our plane.
Our plane for today's ride (PH-XRX), a 13-year-old Boeing 737-700.
More pics of the plane.
View from my seat 07F.
The plane came with Boeing's old interior but still, it looked clean and well-preserved.
Taxiing to the runway.
Cabin crew, seats for takeoff.
V1, rotate.
Positive rate, gear up. Views of Eindhoven Airport shortly after rotating.
Legroom was fine.
It took us some time until we reached FL400.
Another pic of the cabin while cruising towards Barcelona.
After a bit more than an hour of flight, we started our descent.
Gorgeous views of the Catalan coast.

The beautiful city of Barcelona.

We landed at 1 PM local time, 20 minutes ahead of schedule. Again well-done Transavia! Excellent on-time performance!
