This trip started with an easy Uber ride from Ipanema to SDU airport. Uber Black was actually not much more than UberX, and there were two of us going, so I ordered that. Check-in was pretty easy at this small airport.

The terminal wasn't big and didn't have any amenities to speak of, but it was clean and modern.

The 2-aisle-2 layout is what you'd expect on an E190 and the legroom wasn't bad.

Really impressive IFE considering how short this flight was and how cheap the airfare was.

Arrival in Curitiba

Some street scenes around town. Seeing a random city in southern Brazil that has almost no tourists was actually kinda cool.

Conclusion

Everything about this flight was pretty great considering how cheap it was. I paid $37.93 for my ticket, all in. I had originally booked a flight for earlier this day, but when I found out the friend I was visiting would be in Rio and he was taking this later flight back to Curitiba, I booked another ticket for this flight and didn't even both researching whether I could change the earlier one. I'd definitely recommend Azul.
