After my colombian adventure, today it was nice to make some more relaxed trip to Formentera, an Island which is close to Ibiza, Eivissa. It was time to go to the beach and try good food for a few days after nearly three months losed in the jungle.
From Barceloan to Ibiza the best way is Vueling, which is offering quite a lot of flights every day. Today we're taking VY3508 with STD at 9:25, so we went to the airport an hour before. We didn't check any bag so we proceeded directly to the security check and after a short walk we went to our boarding gate.
Airport secrets

Boarding was made some good 35 minutes before STD, but it was by bus, so it takes quite long, also because the flight is full. During the hop we passed throught some interesting planes which are getting prepared at that time for their flights. TAM is getting ready for it's flight to Sao Paulo, United was preparing it's flight to EWR and EL AL is about to make it's flight back home to Tel Aviv, (an airport which I will visit in a few days)

There's our A320. EC-MBD today, not sharkled yet. Old style.

Wingview, Cabin view and seat pitch, which is very poor on Vueling A320 (A321 is quite better maybe, but not so much)

We were waiting for a while, and finally we started moving at 9:50AM. Reason was the traffic congestion in Barcelona, which is a big problem during summer. Safety demostration was made and we taxied to runway 25L (the other plane was going to Palma de Mallorca)

V1, Rotate, gear up and left turn to the Mediterranean Sea. Very nice day to fly

Climbing

Flight is very short today so no trolley is passing throught the cabin. Even that Vueling keeps making the presentation of it's cabin crew on every flight and passengers who want to but something they were allowed to, but only drinks and snacks today.
We could see Mallorca Island from the window!

Plane flies to Mallorca and before reaching the island we turned to the south to Ibiza
Descent started soon. We're gonna land from the south, so we will make a U turn over Ibiza today. Es Vedrà rocks are clearly seen from the plane today.

Making the turn and starting our final approach

Cleared to land

And touchdown after a Flight time of 37 minutes. Taxi to a remote stand and a bus (again) brought us to the terminal. Airport was very crowded, mostly of european tourists who were arriving from Germany, UK and Netherlands.

Soon we left the airport and we headed to Ibiza Harbour by bus where we took a Ferry to Formentera Island, which is much more relaxing and very nice. One last picture from the boat.

Thank you for reading!
Thanks for this FR.
Beautiful views throughout the flight.
