Hello!
Here is story about flight from Amsterdam to Guangzhou with two flights beside this main one,
1st flight Budapest-Amsterdam
2nd flight Amsterdam- Guangzhou
3rd flight Guangzhou- Taipei;
Start point of this flight adventure was Budapest Airport ( BUD ) from where we started our adventure with first flight BUD-AMS with beautiful KLM b737.
Budapest Airport was so good organized and every step there was totally easy because there is a lot of space and as I said, good organization.

It was good duty free area with a lot of good stores

Final destination at this airport was fantastic KLM B737

Configuration of seats in plane was 3-3 and my seat was in exit row so tumbs up, for 2h flight cheese sandwich and drink what you want !

Whole flight was interesting so KLM deservs every good word. Clean aircraft, fantastic cabin crew, nice food, nice take off and landing!

2nd and main flight of this flight-report is China Southern CZ308 from Amsterdam to Guangzhou
At Schiphol Amsterdam airport it is really easy to have fun and enjoy in fantastic view to planes around this beautiful Airport, Schiphol is clean and good organized airport so have to say that it was good impression. There is a lot of space and a lot of natural brightness because of big ( and clean) windows so that is one more plus for this AMS!
After these words you can to see that my 5 hours of waiting at AMS were interesting :D

My ride to Guangzhou was China Southern Airbus 330-300 !

Configuration of seats in plane was 2-4-2 and I was not that happy because my seat was 54F ( far from window) but it was comfy seat, but I am 1,9m tall so it was not that good for my legs when you imagine that it is place for 11h long-haul flight.
All in all,
Positive - Good 2 meals, fantastic and big IFE screen in front of your seat, clean aircraft, good and comfortable seat for person of maximum 1.8m
Negative things- okay, but not the best choice for persons taller than 1.8m , and one really bad fact for me CABIN CREW OF THIS AIRLINE = NOT THAT GOOD ENGLISH SPEAKING ( they did not understand 50% of English) ;

After 11 hours and 25 minutes, good landing at Guangzhou was important :D

Guangzhou Baiyun Int. Airport is nice, with a lot space and clean what is important to me, and yes, a lot of great planes to spot from big windows…

3rd flight was Guangzhou - Taipei in China Southern Airbus 330 as previous so here is example of beautiful CZ interior…

Thank you for reading my flight report!
See you soon, onboard I hope! ;D
Quite common for Chinese airlines in regards to English. Yes, they will understand the most important things, however when you are trying to order something more sophisticated. Good luck! :)
Btw was your aircraft an A330-300 or 200 version as you said it to be an A330-300, while an A330-200 is selected in the header. And you could make separate entries for each flight if you want! :)
Nice report though and welcome to FR!
I know that their English isn't that good, but I have to write it because here we have people who don't know that information.
It was A330-300, now is good ?
Thank you for commenting and thank you for welcoming ?
Hello Aviation_Pl2, and welcome to flight-report.com. Thanks for sharing this three-in-one package.
Great photography throughout, and an interesting look at this route. I’ve wondered about this flight with China Southern bowing out of SkyTeam… I’d guess there’s enough demand for CAN-AMS and vice versa to support it. But I wonder.
I’ve not yet flown CZ, but in a fair bit of experience with MU, I’ve found their English juuuuuust enough to squeeze by. And I can understand that. Generally, we’ve found ways to understand each other, even if it took a bit of work. Granted, that’s been in premium cabins, where multilingual staff may be prioritized.
Thanks again for sharing this!
Hello ?
I'm glad that you like it, that means to me a lot!
I have to say positive things about this flight, but I want to write and some small critics to people can know what to expect, I didn't mean nothing bad. Very nice food, clean aircraft, fantastic and fast IFE, but have to say about English level, that's not that scary ?
Thank you for good words, and see you onboard maybe ?
Hi Aviation_pl2, thanks for sharing your first report here with us!
English language skills seems to be a common complaint for Chinese carriers, and accents from around the world surely don't help the matter. It seems they are getting better with the years and hopefully will continue improving. The cabin is nice and modern and the catering looks good. The 2-4-2 configuration of the A330 is definitely more comfortable than a 777 in 3-4-3.
Welcome to Flight-Report!
I know, a lot of people complain about English of Chinese people but that's better and better and we alk say that. Just it is a bit strange because they have to be a bit prepared for international flights, but at least they know food and drink names ?
Thank you for nice comments, I appreciate it ??
