Excellent Singapore Airlines Economy class from Chennai to Singapore
This was my first ever trip international trip and it is "Singapore Airlines" so I was excited to the core. I was little nervous about the checkin and immigration procedures so didn't take much pictures during checkin.
Regarding check in it was a hassle free experience and was relatively smooth. Then proceeded to immigration and security since not much flights depart around 11PM it was pretty quick. Gate no 14 was assigned in Chennai Airport which was present in the old terrible. Terminal was not in good shape and there was very little shops near the gates.
Boarding was announced at 10.35PM IST and started with business class passengers and then the Economy class. While entering warm staffs in traditional singapore airlines dress greeted us. It was a mix of male and female crew.

Seat layout is 2x4x2 as in other singapore Airlines A330s. The seats were colorful and well maintained, and the legroom was excellent. Each seats had separate IFE powered by the excellent Krisworld which had loads of entertainment. On the seats we where provided with a pillow and blanket.
Departure was delayed due to heavy downpour of rains and thunderstorms in Chennai Airport. It took nearly 25mins for takeoff from the gate. And the seat belts sign was on for more than 20minutes due to bad weather. Once seatbelts signed off we where provided hot towels which was great for a 4hr Economy class.
Then Menu cards where handed out to the passengers. Dinner consists of two options indian and continental.Was surprised that menu card was also printed in Tamil local language in chennai. We ordered one each for indian it was biryani with gulab jamun as desert and for continental it was fish salad with cake, Both tasted really good.
Post dinner watched some movies and dozzed off. Woke up right near johar bahru Malaysia SIngapore border.
Krisworld was excellent and had lot of contents to time pass.
Then Landed safely in Changi International Airport on time. Baggage received in belt 36 on time.

Hi there, welcome! Singapore Airlines make for a lovely first international flight. Things like a printed menu elevate the experience compared to other carriers.
