Boarding started on time and I made my way to my window seat on this fully packed flight (operated by Discover on behalf of Lufthansa).
Some first views outside while waiting.
Pushback started with some delay.
We departed into sunny skies for a journey of 1 hour 50 minutes to Bavaria.
Some nice coastal views leaving Ireland.
This fight was operated by Discover, the leisure carrier of LH group, but marketed as a Lufthansa flight with standard Lufthansa inflight service. Consequently Lufthansa's BOB menu was available in the seat pockets:
Service started with a free bottle of water.
Next the BOB trolley came around. I received my pre ordered box meal (consisting of a sandwich, small salad and dessert). Together with it I decided to buy a tasty herbal tea.
The box comes in a nice design. Once opened looking like this:
All was rather tasty - the sandwich a little bit on the dry side but the salad and dessert really good.
Nice to see Lufthansa has changed to nicely branded reusable coffee cups recently compared to paper cups used before for hot drinks in Economy Class.
After the BOB service free farewell Lufthansa chocolates were offered from a basket as well.
After a smooth flight we touched down and parked at a very sunny Munich Airport Terminal 2.
