Hello everyone,
we meet for a weekend in Greece, in Thessaloniki.
Among the various options offered to get to SKG, I notice an option with Swiss:
- double A 220
- CDG-ZRH segment operated by BT
An opportunity Av-Geek, which presents itself, allowing to try the Jet Lease with BT, and a 3rd operator of the A220 (after AF and BT).
I left you on my flight from CDG.
One floor up to the departure hall:

The FIDS :

Direction Schengen Gates:

The airport is very spotter friendly
And, my first impression is confirmed:
Air Baltic’s Jet Lease for Swiss in Port.
At least 8 on the ground:

Many A220 at ZRH.
Also accompanied by AF returning to CDG:

More classic drift for ZRH with Edelweiss and Helvetic:
(Always accompanied by BT)

A little bit of Swiss despite all

Then, the return of Air Baltic in force:

Some very diverse star alliance with Austrian:

Then, Lufthansa :

And finally, Swiss, in the colours of Star Alliance:

I will be heading to my gate at the end of boarding.
The airport of ZRH is very nice, although cold and especially very quiet.
A little more Helvetian cross, by walking me in the door.
A321 Swiss:

Our aircraft of the day, HB-JCF:

Some technical details about our device of the day, one of the first delivered to Swiss:

We are at the Swiss hub:

Auto boarding :

The smallest of the A220’s:

Fuselage shot :

Cordial welcome on board by the "Maitre de Bord".
Cabin, in the colours of Swiss:

My seat, for the next 2 hours.
Even if the photos do not show it well, the leather of the seats looks quite worn:

The pitch, quite restricted.
Visibly lower than on previous BT flight:

The small screen, a special feature of the A220:

The contents of the cover:

A320 Neo SAS :

Follow-up by easyjet A321 Neo:

Announcement of the captain in German and English.
We’ll push back two minutes in advance.
Safety video Swiss:

We head back to the runway, well accompanied by Swiss’s medium-haul fleet:

Seen on the long-haul terminal:

Let LH fly in A319:

Line-up :

Then take-off, in front of the cargo terminal:

Wide angle of climb off Zurich:

The cloud layer will be quickly cleared:

The flight will be quite turbulent, especially at the exit of the Alps:

Overflight over Venice:

The service will be very simple
A bottle of water:

Then, the traditional Swiss chocolate:

A BOB will be available.
However, I find the service weak in comparison to competition.
Similarly, the screens will be used for geovision, but also to advertise duty free.
Quite surprising for a legacy.
The approach to Thessaloniki will start as we approach the Aegean:

Overflight Thessaloniki :

Left hand base today:

Final over the Thessaloniki campaign:

Landing on time at SKG :

The neighbours of the day.
The companies present are mainly leisure oriented:

A320 Aegean, and B737 Ryanair :

Then, parking next to this ATR Olympic:

Fast boarding through the two left doors of our A220.
Goodbye to our crew.
Our A220 trim:

Last sight on our aircraft :

B737 TUI :

And, the superb Olympic Air ATR:

Fast arrival at terminal, with FIDS for flights of the day:

Welcome at Thessaloniki !

Our suitcases will arrive quickly, and we will reach the city center by taxi, for about 30 €.
