Hi,
being on transfer at Doha I first visited the huge Qatar Business Class Lounge at the main pier.

When entering you end up in a very spacy setup with water, high ceilings etc.

First I had a drink in a seat next to window:

Then looking around which other areas exist in this huge Lounge - there are so many different settings which is very nice.

I ended up in an area with table service focused on sandwiches and salads.

The menu:

I ordered a very tasty sandwich and some tea.

After a while I headed closer to my departure gate at area C. There I quickly visited the second Qatar Business Lounge - The Garden:

It also is a very nice place with plenty of seating and nice buffets:

This lounge is set up on a gallery with some views on the 'Orchard' called garden at DOH.

The bathrooms look very nice as well:

Boarding started on time via bus. Business Class passengers were boarded via a comfortable separate bus which was very welcome and relaxed.

Our 787-9 Dreamliner was parked at a very remote apron in the morning sun:

Reaching my very nice window seat for this 5 hours 30 minutes trip to Europe:

The seat provides a lot of space, stowage areas and also a sliding door for privacy.

I especially liked the clever wireless charging holder for phones:

A nice amenity kit was already waiting at the seat:

Same for headsets:

A selection of pillows and a nice blanket were also at the seat area.
The menu was already waiting in the seat pocket:

Soon I was greeted by a friendly crew member who explained me the seat and asked for a welcome drink. I ordered a glass of Rosé champagne.

Pyjamas were distributed next - a nice feature on such a medium range non-night flight.

Arabic coffee and dates were offered as well.

We started to taxi and departed on time.

Mood lighting was turned on.

Once in the air, cabin crew came around to take food and drink orders.
I visited the spacy lavatory (with a window) and had a look at the welcome area/small buffet at the rear of the cabin.

Soon nuts and a first drink were served.

Table clothes were laid out and the table dressed with amuse bouche.

A very tasty starter:

Followed by an Arabic style chicken main dish:

Some cheese and a very tasty sweet dessert to finish:

Enjoying the nice seat and views outside.

Chocolates were also offered later.

The whole meal tasted very good and was extremely well presented. Cabin crew was passing by very frequently and drink refills could be ordered any time.

Some nice views along the route:

After watching a movie we already reached the Alps and started descend into Munich where we landed on time.
