Hello again,

this is a report about my Qatar Airways A350 flight from Doha, Qatar back to Frankfurt, Germany. The reports for my DOH-DXB-DOH rotation will follow soon :)

It was 07:00 a.m. when I arrived at Doha's Hamad International Airport in the morning. Qatar's 787 A7-BCK just brought me from Dubai to Doha. I had some spare time but after a while, the boarding area for my next A350-flight to Frankfurt opened.

We had a great view to our operating aircraft, A7-ALC again ;)

The small remote is showing the seat number. In my opinion a very helpful feature:

We departed right on time with a quite good view down to the new islands of of Doha:

An hour later, a good looking breakfast was served. You could choose between a sweet one and a hearty one. I took the hearty-menu:

All window-blinds were closed and nearly all passengers felt asleep for the next hours. Shortly before landing, some chips were served. We landed safely and on time. Here a picture of the entry-area:

Conclusion

All in all - like the first A350 flight - a very comfortable flight.
The IFE worked very well, the food was very delicious and the crew was nice and professional.

The flight was on time, no issues during the whole flight.

    The breakfast looks good

    10 for the QR IFE ? I can barely find two rock music albums last january and the movies choice was weak

    Thanks for sharing this return flight. Beautiful photos of this beautiful aircraft. Those A350 wings are so cool. Could you please fill out the summary section at the bottom to explain your grading? It is very helpful for readers of the reviews. What is a ribald-menu? Doesn't ribald mean dirty sexual things?...never heard it associated with food :-P Typo?

      I was amazed by the word ribald too but I thought that it was because of my poor english that I couldn't understand it
      Maybe QR is introducing a new concept for food ?

      Oh I'm soo sorry about that mistake!
      My translator said that this is the translation for a meal which is not sweet, something like a hearty meal.

      Sorry about that, as an English-learner I sometimes have to translate the one or the other word and in cases like that I don't realize that the word can mean something completely different.

    Thank you for sharing this return leg about the A350.

    I see the FC Barcelona special livery was at DOH in one of your photos.

    She's a pretty plane and the catering looks good for a breakfast in Y. Was there a small snack pre-arrival?

    I wonder why QR didn't stick a small 4-seat first class cabin at the front of these A350s.
