Here is the flight report for my flight from Singapore back to Hong Kong, as an connection flight for my SYD-HKG arm (Report link: http://flight-report.com/en/report-11856.html)
So the journey continued with my overnight stay at Changi Airport.
Bought the pandan cake from Bengawan Solo first when I arrived in SIN, in case the shop had not opened before I went on the the second flight. So yea a must buy to those who have not heard about it.This is essentially the reason I chose SIN to do the transfer seriously haha
So anyway I did not sleep a lot coz firstly I am a very hard sleeper, and secondly I was hungry throughout the night, and thirdly I was awoken by a police officer (or custom I don't know) to check my passport and boarding pass at around 4am when I almost managed to fall asleep. They literally woke up everyone in the building to check their documents one by one. I do not know if this is the common practice since this is my first to stay overnight in an airport actually.
The airport became noisy and crowded at around 5am since people started flocking in for the morning flights. And restaurants opened which meant breakfast time!
The Changi Airport has always been praised for its special and characteristic design in the terminals.
SQ uses terminal 3 for flights between SIN and HKG. And Gate 21 for today's flight, from Singapore to Hong Kong, with a A330-300 aircraft. In Changi Airport, security check is done at gate.
I am not sure how old this airplane is exactly, but judging from the interior it seems very new. The carpet is very clean, the entire interior is very nice. One bonus thing is when the captain made the typical pre-flight announcement, after saying Good Morning in English, he added Good morning passengers in Cantonese. Not sure if he just manages to speak Cantonese, or he is an emigrant from HK or what, but that is pretty interesting to me as a HK local hearing that.
They served breakfast of course during the flight and I picked the Western option. And as I mentioned in my previous report, the portion is sadly light. Not much surprise, simply a decent breakfast set.
The route map in the IFE. The screen size is pretty large to me. We were approaching HKG pretty soon. And by the way, I am not sure when they have so many hubs next to the screen which are not that commonly used during flight except USB I guess…
Arrived in HK on a rarely sunny morning. Nice flight overall.
That's what I got for this flight. I were supposed to take pics with higher quality, but I lost my DSLR in Australia, so I had to take all these pics with my S5 phone only, which had very bad camera quality after using for a year…umm…hope next time would be better!

Did they check you when you were Airside sleeping? :o I was thinking of sleeping airside in SIN and TPE before then clearing customs. I wonder if they would look at the flight number and realise i should have arrived late at night and not morning
