NOTE:
Some pictures are taken with my phone and some with my camera.
Unfortunately every trip comes to an end at some point and it was time to return to our home in Stockholm, Sweden. We left our hotel in Copenhagen at 09:00 AM and caught a bus to the nearest Metro station. We later took the Metro to the airport.

Metro station after a rather short bus ride.

We arrived at the airport in 30 minutes and checked-in using one of these check-in kiosks. The process was smooth and we received our BPs in no-time.

The Metro station at the airport is located at Terminal 3 which meant we had to walk to Terminal 2 as our flight would depart from that terminal. Here are the Norwegian check-in desks in Terminal 2.

The departures area was located upstairs.

The check-in area on the ground floor seen from above.

The lines for security were pretty long at first but the security staff still managed to make sure the process was smooth and efficient. One of the staff asked me what I had in my camera bag, I told her I had a camera inside and she acknowledged it and smiled. This was much nicer compared to the bad experience I had in MUC last April, a security agent asked me the same question there but forced me to take my camera out and show her my pictures. I had no problem with that but her attitude was very rude against me.

We had a good amount of time to burn before boarding would commence, I decided to explore the airport for a while before heading toward our gate.

My father stopped by a small café and grabbed a cup of coffee on our way to the gate, our assigned gate would be gate A8 today.

There was a DY flight leaving for Stockholm ARN when we came to our gate, our flight would depart from the same gate.

Norwegian B738 boarding for Stockholm ARN.

Norwegian B738.

Alsie Express AT75.

SAS A320

Singapore Airlines B772.

Air Canada B763 arriving from YYZ.

Thai B77W.

Lufthansa A319.

Eventually time passed away and boarding commenced at 11:15 AM, 25 minutes before our scheduled time of departure.

Walking down the aerobridge.

Passengers seated up in front boarded using the aerobridge, passengers seated at the back of the plane were requested to board using a passenger boarding stair.

I was greeted with a 'hej' by one of the FA's, I soon made my way and settled into seat 9F.

The seat pitch was decent on this flight.

The cabin started to fill up slowly but surely, the estimated load factor was at 85%.

Boarding was completed shortly afterwards and pushback took place at 11:45 AM.

This cabin was slightly older and had no overhead monitors, the plane still had BSI though. The safety demonstration was done manually while we were taxiing, all announcements were made in English and Norwegian.

Tracking my own flight through Norwegian's onboard Wi-Fi. I used their Wi-Fi to entertain myself on the whole flight.

This flight was pretty uneventful as expected, the FA's made one service run with a few passengers ordering coffee and that was about it.

Soon we initiated our descent into Stockholm-Arlanda Airport.

Joining the boring weather in Stockholm.

Landing on runway 01L at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport.
We landed after a flight time of 50 minutes.

Docked at the gate.

The arrival process was smooth, we had no checked-bags which meant we could head for the bus stop immediately.

We took the free shuttle bus to the ALFA parking from the arrivals area.

The drive from the airport to our home took approximately 20 minutes.

Thank you for taking your time to read this FR :).

Thanks for sharing the return flight on DY!

- I was very jetlagged when at CPH, I guess I left from Terminal 3, didn't really notice that there were other terminals. I saw lots of DY planes when I was walking around before my flight, are the terminals connected once you go past security? I also don't remember these kiosks getting off the subway, I just used the SK kiosks in the check-in area.
You had much better weather than I did while at CPH, I found spotting to be much more difficult. A nice variety of carriers at CPH. I don't think any US carriers have regular service there though, so surprised to see the AC bird.
I like how they send some people outside to board from the rear too. I guess that speeds up the boarding for faster turnarounds?
Is most of DY's fleet new? The cabins all look really nice with BSI. I normally associate LCCs with crappy looking cabins (i.e., FR), but NAS looks very good. Obviously no service, but you don't need service on a short flight.
Shame it was cloudy all flight, but at least the winglet shots were good :)
Thank you for your comment :).
I think the terminals are connected, I walked through the terminal once I cleared security and found lots of SK flights which are supposed to leave from T3.
Delta flies to CPH seasonally, they'll fly JFK-CPH from May next year.
Yep, that's probably for increased efficiency.
I guess so, their B738 fleet has an average fleet age of 3,9 years which makes it pretty new. Their cabins really enhance the flight experience!
Thank you for stopping by :).
Thank you for this return FR.
DY seems like a decent LCC and as long as you know what you get (or not) you should be fine.
Very nice spotting and aerials. I think CPH is a very well connected and convenient airport to get to/from the city. However, passport control can take a while and be slow. This is the only negative area that I see with this airport. I don't think that you had to experience that since you were flying to Sweden.
Thank you for your comment :).
Yep, you're right.
Thank you :). I have to agree on that part, it is well connected with the city. There's always something negative about everything, yep I didn't go through passport control as I was flying to Sweden.
Thank you for stopping by :).
