I decided to go to Brussels for 3 days combining a leisure with a business trip. Instead of taking TAP this time my option was Edelweiss Air. I booked the original ticket FNC-ZRH-BRU-HAM-LIS-FNC on lufthansa.com and it cost me 522 EUR, FNC-ZRH-BRU in Y class and return legs BRU-HAM-LIS-FNC in C class. Then, I needed to extend my stay at Brussels in order to attend some professional meetings and also decided to upgrade the outbound legs. That cost me 200,00 EUR for the upgrade FNC-ZRH-BRU. In fact I paid 200,00 EUR for tha fare difference plus 65 EUR for the penalty change from the original fare. But, as I did not change the outbound flights, but only the cabin I asked back those 65 EUR and Lufthansa agreed on the mistake.
So on the 28th Nov I arrived at the airport just 1h00 before departure, because I knew in advance that no lounge was available even for C class costumbers. My bag was sent to BRU and boarding started at 10h35. It would be a full flight on both Y and C class (12 pax). The aircraft would be A320 HB-IJV delivered to Swiss in 2003 and transfered to Edelweiss in 2012.
Once onboard the excellent service of Edelweiss started. First of all a welcome drink (choice between water, orange juice or champagne) and also the headsets and menu. Take-off was on time for a 3h20 flight.
Shortly after hot towels were offered to each passenger and peanuts and drinks.
After it the table was set for the meal service. As usual on this flight the meal would be serve plate by plate. First we had the salad and starter: salad bowl with radish, cucumber, carrots and bell pepper. Carpaccio from air-dried Grisons beef with Bernese origin hard cheese, celery and lemon honey vinaigrette. Bread was served along.
After it was time for the main course. There were 3 options for the hot plate. My choice was for the fillet of beef with pepper crust, red wine sauce, roasted new potatoes, sugar-snap peas and cherry tomato. I took a coke with it.
Then I had the cheese plate and the desserts: lemon thyme mousse with blueberry stew and cream caramel mousse. Everything was delicious!
Crew did their best with a full cabin and offering drinks and bread several times during the service. To finish the meal I had a coffee with swiss pralines. When the service ended the remaining flight time would be 1h15.
We arrived at ZRH 30 min ahead of schedule time, parking in a remote stand. About 50% of the passengers had connections to other destinations.
I strongly recommend Edelweiss Air, the quality of the product is a guarantee.

Thanks for this report. it's not so often taht we see reports on Business class on Edelweiss. The product looks good for a european flight with a nice catering and screen to follow the flight. Apparently the flights attendants deserved a very good grade ! Great views on takeoff.
