Date : 16 September 2016 Airline : LH- Lufthansa Flight : LH 495 Class : Business Class Itinerary : Toronto (YYZ) - Munich Aircraft : A330-300
Check- in was done in YQR and my luggage was sent directly to my final destination ZRH.
unfortunately I could not enjoy the Air Canada Maple Leaf lounge in YYZ, as I was connecting from an Air Canada domestic flight and arrived late in YYZ.
Boarding : - was a bit messy, was supposed to be 30 min before departure and no announcement was done, only some people start to board but without specific order.
I start queuing behind the business class line . and then everybody start queuing without order,
Entering the cabin : and sat on my seat : 3D (Aisle seat) :
the business class config is 2-2-2 on LH, I found the seat comfortable but not ideal : quite tight and also the middle console is very small, you can barely put more than 2 glasses
View on 1st class where I wish to try on my next trip soon :

Welcome drink was served : Champagne or Water : I choose the Champagne :
than menu were distributed :
Main dinner + Breakfast before landing :
Choice of : - Beef, - Fish (Cod) - Ravioli
I took the Fish.
Drinks menu : I don't find the selection of champagne or wine very high standard : LH should do an effort on providing better Champagne on board :
3D is a middle seat so no window view on the take off :
As it was late night, no pre- dinner drinks was served, the dinner start 20 minutes after take off :
Appetizer : Salad :
Main : Cod :
I skipped the cheese, as I was tired and wanted to sleep :
Dessert was an ice cream from Hagen Daz, the ice cream was good, but not very original :
Than, it was time to sleep : woke up flying over Germany : no time for Breakfast any more :
Lufthansa offers quite a good product in business : - Hard product : Seat configuration (2-2-2) could be better as no direct aisle access to all seats, but seat comfort is good, manage to sleep ok. - Soft product : the quality and quantity of food was good, but the choice of Wine / Champagne could be improve.
The Munich lounges are quite nice, less busy than Frankfurt. I prefer transferring in MUC, being less busy airport and offering the Senator Café lounge open during the week only.

Thanks for this FR. Basic J class product from LH once again. You find the ice cream dessert on many airlines in economy and just a salad as a starter is ridiculous.
Thanks for sharing this report with us. A good flight but room for improvement. The seats look very close and do not seem to offer enough intimacy for a business class. The catering is a bit simple to my taste , espacially the desert whre you expect more than an Ice cream. LH does the job but lacks teh wow effect.

Basic J class product from LH once again.
