Hello everyone,
this is my return leg after flying to OTP with TAROM's old 737-300. from Bucarest to Paris CDG. Today we'll fly with AF.
Busy international departure zone in OTP.

At some point the lights went off and on again… and all the screens had to reload.

FIDS

AF Check-in desks, rather busy with efficient staff processing luggage quickly

no checked luggage for me but I asked for a printed Boarding Pass.

We went off to security where no priority lane was really visible. It didn't matter to me because I was with non-SP colleagues, but some people clearly didn't enjoy having to queue…

Airside

Time to spot, but not much to spot…

I decided to have a look at the lounge with a colleague to see if we could get her a sandwich. You need to take an escalator up the stairs from the main shopping gallery

The lounge looks pretty new and has nice furniture

Sadly no real solid food at this time of the day.

So we decided to get back downstairs and had a seat in a café waiting for boarding.

We came rather late to the gate and the queue was almost entirely gone

I was very happy to see the new AF cabin on this flight.

Spotting on the tamac in rainy Romania - the a310 was retired shortly thereafter

Some in flight impressions. I like the new cabin very much even though legroom was lost and is now equivalent to LCCs

"Dinner" was a warm chicken-and-leek sandiwch, yoghurt and fruits. Edible, okay, warm… not much to complain about, not extraordinary either.

Landing in CDG taxiing to 2E-L we passed these two A380s

Impressions of the seat beofre disembarking

The plane

By the time we had passed customs luggage had had the time to arrive, saving us some time.
