Hello all, this is my first trip report here.
I mainly travel beetween Ecuador, Perú and Colombia. Hope you enjoy my reports.
Most of the time I fly with Avianca, honestly I wouldn't change Avianca whatsoever.
This trip started in Guayaquil, where we took a 30 min flight to Quito and then connected to Bogota.
Some action in GYE
This is what you get on this short 30 minutes flight from GYE to UIO in Bussisnes,
Once landed we proceeded to the VIP lounge for about 20 minutes or so and then went down to the boarding gate
Time to board our A320 HC-CJM. It looked a bit old with a couple of broken seats. Once on board we were offered some OJ, Water or Champagne
Flight Time 1 hour and 10 minutes. As usual leaving Quito gets turbulent so after a few bumps everything went smooth for the rest of the flight.
A full meal was provided in this short flight which is impressive given the duration of it. The service began with a hot towel, hot bread and two choices Chicken or Meat. It all came in one tray with salad and dessert.

After the service we started our decend to Bogota, and with an smooth landing the flight was over.

Nice catering for a short flight. However as you mentioned the cabin looks a bit old and in need of refurbishment but IFE are nice to have on an A 320.
If i undestand your flight is Avianca but under the colors of aerogal ?
Hello, thanks for the comment. To answer your question Aerogal is now Avianca Ecuador, few planes still have the old livery but it is Avianca now.

A good service on this short flight, you no longer anything hot in Europe for flights shorter that 90 minutes.
