Hi all,

Here is a quick 737 comparison on Africa's busiest route between a legacy and a LCC.

Once the car got returned to the Avis agency, time to check in at the domestic terminal.

Such a lovely view

A computer issue prevented the queue to move on thus waiting lanes kept growing and pax started to lose patience. Every 5 min a MN staff came to inform new arriving passengers about the problem and offered some reading/newspapers.

30 minutes later, once everything was solved, ground staff called the passengers having flights the sooner to check in/drop off the luggage. Thankfully all desks were opened so we were all processed soon with no more than 15 minutes extra time.

It was probably the rush hour but security lanes were definitely jam-packed and I must admit CPT staff are very efficient as we did not stand still a single minute.

Boarding was well organized, I'm not sure there is a call for group or priority but one could either step inside from door L1 or L2. I flew MN in 2014 on the reverse route so no surprise to re enter in the BSI cabin.

OK, Kulula has humorous safety cards, but this may be the worst seat pitch ever reported !
Thanks for the report and the bonus !

Thank you Marathon for reading and commenting - Not sure if it's the worst pitch ever reported here, because from what I've read/heard, in Spain with Vueling you may find the winner overall ;-)

Jambo Bwana. Trust me Vueling is much better ... http://flight-report.com/fr/report/23483/Vueling-Airlines-VY9432-Paris-ORY-Milan-MXP
Very nice ride in the Cape wine region Hips! Did it ages ago and I still remember it. Some bottles definitely worth the trip. Funny crew and planes to hide that horrendous pitch. 2 hours cramped in a plane can get a very painful experience that only alcohol can help forget.
Nice tail line up on arrival that also reflects the reality of the South African aviation market nowadays.
        Asante sana!

Asante sana Okapi! And sorry for the late.

          Much better???
you must be kidding, right? must not have been a fun trip unlike the recent published...
For the best wineries, one must be independant (car no tour) and stays for 4-5 days min,or even more! Hence this day trip on one of the most popular region was ok to sample very nice wines (read get hammered with popular sh$t) in a good company and different environment... LOL

The seat pitch on Kulula seems like the pitch on Spirit Airlines here in the States. Thanks for the Cape Town bonus, I haven't been there yet.

Thank you very much Nick for your comment and "the advise about avoiding" Spirit when a trip will be planned there :) !
Cape Town and its region, well, is a MUST DO
It's like Namibia but with more options to choose from...
