It's my first time writing a flight report, hope I'll get it right.
To begin, Changi Airport is a very nice airport, spacious and elegant (Sorry for not including photos, I was busy with shopping using my transit vouchers).
The plane which took me from Singapore to Hong Kong (and some to San Francisco)
These seats are very good. The padding is very good and my back was well cushioned. The seat should not be a problem at all for long haul flights.
Pillows were fantastic and big. The blanket was of good quality, unlike some other airlines which give a towel-like blanket.
Hot towels were distributed and again, nice quality.
Menu was distributed, it seemed to be a smaller one when compared to my previous flights but having a menu in economy class was already a great touch.
The screen is fantastic, a very big one, very responsive and doesn't give a greasy feeling. Screens on some other airlines often have a lot of fingerprints on it which is a bit gross.
The weather was quite bad in Singapore, and we had to wait for some other connecting passengers. But the cabin was so great so I didn't really mind waiting for a while.
You've gotta love this mood lighting.
Once on air I tried the SingaporeAir app. It became the third screen. It's easy to navigate and use.
Wifi plan is quite expensive. I didn't use it as I think KrisWorld could keep me entertained for a short-haul flight.
The meal was fantastic. Bread was good and soft. The salad had a few prawns in it and has great flavours. The main course is absolutely brilliant. Good texture and the chicken was soft and well cooked. The ice cream was great as well, not too sweet and gave a great finish to the meal.
The rest of the flight was uneventful. The crew made a couple rounds of drink service and was very attentive.

-It's a nice change compared to the previous one they offered which was volume-based
Lovely to hear that you enjoyed a fantastic meal
Also, next time, it would be nice if you could include a lavatory visit to give an overview of its condition during the flight. Not just the cleanliness but the amenities offered in it as well.

I took SQ as SQ1 from SFO to HKG to Singapore... The economy class is the best I ever flew... I slept very well during my flight.... Very comfortable seat....
