I am taking my annual leave for 3 weeks this August 2017. I will be going to my hometown, Cebu (in The Philippines), Taipei, Hong Kong, Macau (no flight report as will be taking the ferry only) and Bangkok.
Please allow me to start with the flight out of Male, Maldives to Singapore via Singapore Airlines. I have had taken several flights with Singapore Airlines and sadly, as I had just discovered Flight Report, I was not able to take photos of my other previous flights. Better late than never. :)
Here are some shots taken at Velana International Airport in Male, Maldives.
For those going to resorts, they would need to approach these counters belonging to each resort and they will be assisted from there onwards. They are now empty as all arrivals must have arrived.
The Information Counter where you can also pay and leave your luggage for US$5 per night.
Now it's time to go inside the airport and check in.
Checking out the shops and nothing too interesting.
God Bless my US$15 Burger King meal. :)
Inside the gate. Flight is full … of Chinese friends. :)
The tradition continues of checking the lav out before taking off.
Oshibori.
IFE… Decent movies and a few other selections.
The menu.
And my meal today. Food is so so or must be due to turbulence, I lost appetite.
Singapore sunrise.
Hi, Manuel.
You're from the Philipines! Now I see why you have a Spanish name. ^^
I think that many of us have the same regrets. I have some long haul pre-Flight-Report flights that would have made great reports. :(
Now I know what my first meal would look like if I ever visited Malé!
From my own experience I can tell you that in a couple of decades this will stop being a tradition, and will become a need. Believe me.
If you ever fly LATAM you will learn to appreciate SQ's food!! :P
For some reason some photographs are not loading on my computer. I will wait until tomorrow and check again.
Thanks for this nice report!
Thanks... :-)
