Review of Cathay Pacific flight Hong Kong → Cebu in Economy

Ok, I gotta be honest. I was hoping to be upgraded again to Business Class. But no. Well, it's ok. One upgrade was more than enough. :)

2 days in Hong Kong was a bit exhausting as I did a lot of walking but at least there was no more typhoon.

I left the hostel at around 4AM from Nathan Road to Airport. I did a short walk to The Kowloon Hotel where overnight bus N21 will have a bus stop. If you are going to and from Airport between 130AM to about 530AM, bus N21 is your option. Fare from Nathan Road to Airport is about HKD33 (USD1 = HKD7-ish as of this writing) per adult per way. You will have to give an exact change to the driver as he will not return any change to you. Travel time was about one hour. It will have a few stops as it will pick up passengers going to the Airport.

Checked in and had gotten my BP.



It was still early and realized that my flight was a bit delayed so was looking for breakfast. McDonald's was pretty crowded at 6AM. :( But settled for some black coffee and croissant.



After breakfast, did a little walk and took these photos.



And realizing that I still had ample time, did some more picture taking and did some planes this time.



I liked the ambiance of each gate in this Airport.

Some of the facilities here like telephones, charging stations, wifi was fast, hot&cold water, stroller for kids, etc..

Finally boarded and checked the Lav out as a tradition. It was clean.

Food. Was ok. Generally, CX food is good. :)



There was a typhoon over Manila area.



Landing into Cebu.



Took MyBus from the Airport to SM City Cebu for only PHP25 (US$25cents). The bus was parked just outside of the arrival terminal.
