The return flight back to Taiwan after backpacking in Europe for a month. Italy really is a "love and hate" place for tourists. A country so beautiful and rich in history but so unsafe especially pick pocket wise. However, definitely returning to this country for a second visit.
Never been to FCO and don't know what to expect. There is something really weird with the tax refund process. The person asked us to check-in first at counter yet wanting to see our checked in luggage. Does it mean we will have to check in first but without checking in the luggage, then queue again at tax refund, then return again to check in counters to send off our bags? We didn't do that though, we got our tax refund first before checking in using mobile boarding passes.

Flight info display. I personally dont like the 787 electronic windows because the cabin crew can shut all the blinds using the central control.
I did not realize that until I went to the lavatory and seeing sunrise from the boarding doors.

It seems like QR arrivals usually uses remote stands. The plane is then refueled and cleaned and towed to gate for departure flights.
