Avianca has very convenient connecting flights from its San Salvador`s Hub to Central a North America. Flights from south America usually leave very early and allows to connect from El Salvador to several destinations. This time my final destination was San Salvador.
Flight AV456 leaves UIO at 5:05 so I got to the airport around 3 am. There was a 4:45 am LATAM flight to Lima and Buenos Aires and a 5:20 Avianca flight to Bogotà, Check in was quick as well as all the immigration procedures.
Quito`s Airport from the Outside and Check in counter

Quito`s airport has won many awards and I really believe all of them are well deserved. Some views of the International pier

Around 4 am our crew arrived

It was soon time to board, I had 7A but was upgraded to 2D and as bussisnes cabin was with only 5 pax I moved to 1A. Economy class was full, most of the connections were to Miami and Los Angeles.
Seat 2D and the flight attendant delivering some OJ or Water

Then I moved to 1A. It was soon time to take off. Captain said flight time will be of 2h40 min. And we just left Quito. Very dark take off
This one was bound to Bogota-

Take off

This plane was pretty old and it doesn`t have PTV so I did not bother to ask for headphones, and I had not idea what movie was on

10.000 feet, and cabin crew got ready for service, all of us were kindly asked by the purser if we wanted breakfast right away or one hour later, the 5 pax decided to eat right away.
Choices were scrambled eggs or pancakes. I had the eggs with coffee and water, catering was really good.

More coffee and more water

Some views from the cabin, and soon the Captain announced our descent

Connecting information was shown on the screen

Approaching to San Salvador is always amazing we had a smooth landing

Remote parking and bussed to the terminal, some pictures and Welcome to San Salvador
