Plan was to initially take a bus to KL. After considering the travel time and Air Asia tickets decided to fly to Malaysia. Here is the trip report.

Food Court under the Terminal
After having breakfast at the food court, headed for the Air Asia Check-in counters. Check-In didn't take long as was travelling light with no checked bags.

Passed through immigration, had 2.3 hrs to spare.

After returning to terminal 1, headed for the gate, where security was about to commence.

Never flew locally before, flying AirAsia felt like travelling on a bus.

It was a long walk after disembarkation to reach the terminal building.Since didn't require visa for Malaysia, immigration was a quick process.

Was out in few mins as didn't have any checked baggage. After coming out of the terminal took a bus to KL Sentral

Thanks for sharing this #ThrowbackReport. At first I didn't see the date of the flight until I saw a Kingfisher plane! And I was like wha???? Haha.
Looks like you had a special blue livery on your plane. Almost like like Southwest Airlines blue. AirAsia gets the job done. They get you from point A to point B for a decent price.
I chose to fly due to the cost of ticket and was going to travel by bus after disembarking in KL. Difference between being on a bus and plane was couple of Singapore Dollars. Chose comfort.
Flying on Air Asia felt like being on a bus which can fly. The service was good considering it being a LCC.
