Keeping this flight report brief. This is a short flight from Taipei TPE to Busan PUS, operated by a333 which is roughly around 2 hours. CAL currently operates two daily flight to Busan from Taipei. The early morning flight using B738 and this flight at 16.00 using a330. This is also a codeshared flight with Delta and KLM.
Masalu! Livery jet parked beside us. This livery is to celebrate the aboriginal tribes of Taiwan and is designed by a contemporary artist from the Paiwan tribe. Today's jet being B-18311 also carries the SkyTeam livery.
Boarding was slightly delayed but the process was smooth. As we started taxi, a KLM 773 has just landed. KLM flies daily using 777 to Manila via Taipei. MNL and TPE sector could not be sold separately.
Flight was smooth was we broke out of the clouds.
Today's flight is nearly full with the majority being Korean tourists.
The out-dated AVOD of the 333s. Really wish CAL could refurnish the cabin, as the a330 seems far from retirement.
Flight route map for today. Really glad that the 330s are mainly used for short hauls now as medium haul destinations such as Australia/NZ and Indonesia are mainly served by new generation aircrafts such as 350 and 777.
The safety card looks new
Meal service - there was only the chicken fillet with rice option. The portion was satisfactory and actually tasted good.
Sun setting
Final Approach to Gimhae airport 10 minutes behind schedule.
The wait for immigration and baggage claim is short and soon we got on the LRT headed for the city.
