Introduction
After arriving from Sydney. Had connection flight after 2 and half hours Checked the departure board.
Checking Departure Gate
Had my passport and boarding pass checked to be allowed into the departure area. After passing security, found a charging socket and spent the next hour and half charging my phone.
Wifi connection was hard to connect even though there were 3 different WiFi addresses to connect to. Somehow got connect to the internet, informed of my arrival and expected departure time to be picked in Mumbai.

Long walk to gate
After charging, time to head towards the gate. I was sitting in Section D, had a long walk to gate E2A.

Arriving at the gate notice, there was a escalator heading downstair. Boarding would be through bus.
Boarding had commenced and last few passenges where being processed.

Had my passport, visa and boarding pass checked.

Once all passengers boarded, after a delay of few minutes it was time for pushback.

Taxi was long passing different sections of the airport. Watch trip video.
Snacks, Immigration and Customs form
Snacks were provided and then immigration form was given to anyone requiring to fill.
Most passengers were holiday makers, few were transiting. Indian citizens don't require to fill the immigration form. Foreigners do. Customs form to be filled by all passengers.

Dinner was served soon after take off

Dinner option was Fish or chicken. I chose fish. as I already had chicken in the previous flight. Drinks trolley came, non-alcoholic beverages were being served. Chose coke.

Soon after dinner cabin light were dimmed.
Outside was totally dark with no other entertainment, had slept till just before approaching Mumbai.
Arrival in Mumbai
After a loop, began approaching Mumbai. Landed on runway 27. passed the domestic Terminal 1 and docked at terminal 2. Watch trip video for arrival.

Immigration and customs
After disembarking, had a walk towards the immigration. The queues were long. Passengers divided into Priority, business and economy. Took about an 1 hr after landing to exit the immigration.
I didn't buy any alcohol at Bangkok as I didn't want to carry it around. Thai Smile didn't sell any on board in duty free. I like to carry some booze for collection. Rate wasn't much different from other airports.
Bag had already arrived at the carousal and had been taken off the belt. After collecting the bag, passed through customs without any issues.
Soon picked outside the terminal to head home.
