Conclusion

I had chosen to fly this flight and route to reach early as I had work next day. Flight departed and arrived on time. As it an early arrival, I was able to rest and prepare self for next day.
On board service was good, Cabin was clean, seat was not comfortable to sleep.
Entertainment and wifi - I did not check.
Meal was adequate as there was snack bar, which I didn't check.

Singapore airport is easy to navigate, I didn't have enough time and did not explore. Sydney airport was able to exit within 30mins of arriving.

Overall a satisfactory flight.

  • Interesting, I didn't know Indigo were selling interline tickets on QF. I suppose that there's a technology communication issue between the two that didn't allow you to select a seat. And I guess selecting a window preference at OLCI doesn't really make a difference. At least you didn't get stuck in the middle!

Too bad the seat wasn't comfortable for sleeping. The A380 is basically the only plane on which I don't mind flying Economy, along with JAL 787s, because the seats are so wide that you don't have to bump elbows with neighbours.

Though this flight is a similar length and timing to an Eastbound transatlantic flight from the east coast of North America, the service seems so much better.

    Thanks for sharing!

    • Indigo had codeshare with Qantas since probably a decade.

I reckon issue was change of equipment, due to which seating was unavailable.

I was thankful that I had a aisle seat as the seat was not comfortable, I felt like I was sliding while sleeping.

      Service on board was satisfactory.

      Thanks for your comment.
