Hi,
After checking in at the Premier Access area and security control I headed for my gate to Miami.
On the way to my gate I spotted a lot of United action at this huge hub including this retro style Airbus.
Unfortunately our flight was delayed more than one hour due to aircraft change because of engine problems.
Finally boarding onto my Airbus 320 started by groups where I was among the first to board.
The cabin of this Airbus was very very old - you could see it from the galleys, toilets and luggage bins.
However the seats were the new refurbished ones and actually were very nice and modern - a lot better than their counterparts on the 737s.

For pre departure drink I ordered a cranberry juice.
We departed with some nice views of the huge Houston Intercontinental Airport for our 1 hrs 50 min flight:
Only one female served First Class today any unfortunatel she was quite unfriendly and very disinterested in providing a good service.
Instead she preferred chatting to colleagues.
No hot towels were provided on this flight which is strange as some were offered on the trip in the other direction Miami to Houston.
So service started with a drink of choice which was Ginger Ale for me.
After that I was served this tiny and uninteresting cheese plate as lunch without any other offer.
Strange enough the first 6 passengers where served this without any choice.
Starting from seat 2 D to row 3 every passenger was also offered a salad as alternative which looked nicer.
A very strange service protocol in my opinion - why not ask avery guest for the choice?!
I finished the flight with a cup of tea and some more drinks.
Descend into Miami was quite bumpy as a storm was about to come.

Thanks for this FR.
What a disappointing experience!
The catering is even worse than what you get on a 1 hour european flight.
