Conclusion

Air Pacific was the flight of choice to Fiji as they were flying the B747. The cabin was worn down due to age of the aircraft which was getting replaced. Cabin service was friendly. Meal was breakfast as it was a short flight in the morning. Nadi airport being a tourist destination was relaxed. Sydney Airport was a quick exit being a non-peak flight.

Overall a satisfactory flight.

  • Air pacific, an airline that appeared in some movies from the 80s-90s ... which makes these FR (too rare) quite intriguing for me.

Even if it dates from 2013, the cabin, the seat, the IFE, ... are completely out of date. But there is the joy of flying on B747.

    Thank you for this FR!

    • Polynesia used to be exotic location for me in the 80s~90's. Having lived in Oceania for many years, I hope to visit few more countries in the region.

  • Thanks for this FR.

I really liked the Air Pacific livery, wish they had kept it and just changed the name.

Always a joy to fly a 747 but even by 2013's standards, everything was outdated on the inside.

    • Thanks for the comments. I had chosen Air Pacific primarily for the B747, all others services were either 737 or A320's. Getting the last seat was fun on take off and landing.

  • Many thanks for this very good report on a plane I would have loved flying on!
