I was travelling with family to Mumbai. Had 5 hours transit in Singapore. There was no iphone, no apps, Nokia ruled the phone market.

End of Trip
:)
Thank you for sharing this look back at SQ 747-400 ops. Koresh. Such an interesting time when the -400 is being displaced by the A380.
Were you intending to make a trip report in 2007? Your pictures hit all the marks that make a great report.
Love the spotting at SYD. Where does the Air Canada 767-300 fly to? IS YVR within range or is it an HNL stop? The BI 767-300 is a great catch too. Of course teh United -400 in the battleship colors.
The meals in flight look substantial compared to what you see these days in Y.
Thank you again for this excellent blast of nostalgia. Happy flying.
I took the photos for family members as we were travelling togather after long time. I took photo of the departure schedule which shows Air Canada was operating B767's via Honolulu. I have travelled on Royal Brunei B767 in 2004, didn't take any interior photos.
Singapore Airlines service has been excellent on all trip I been on. My preference is SQ-> MH->TG->CX-> QF when I'm planning to travel.
Thanks for your comment. :)
I love the seats....very comfy
B747 seats are comfortable in comparison to the 777 seats. After my last experience with CX 3-4-3 seating, I will avoid B777-300ER where possible.
Brilliant read, remember the SQ747s regularly at LHR before 2009.
Shame they are gone, some of those pictures took me back a bit on the technology pictures!
Remind me of the good times, how everything has changed in last 10 yrs with internet being ubiquitous.
Thanks for your comment.
Hi Koresh, thanks for this cool retro-report! It's so interesting to see a report on the SQ 744 so many years later. The cabin had a decidedly 90's feel.
Thanks for sharing!
I enjoyed flying on B747 even though the interior seems dated compared to the modern aircraft. Entertainment wise not as IFE interface wasn't user friendly. but more than made up by friendly customer and inflight service
thanks for the comment.
