Before we head to the script review, I want to explain something about this flight. Jetstar Pacific is a LLC, so they don't offer Business Class onboard; plus they don't have Airbus A321s on their fleets. So why did I have a Jetstar Pacific's flight on Business Class and on A321? So, during the summer travel season, Vietnam Airlines, which is Jetstar Pacific's main shareholder, decided to transfer 5 of their A321s to Jetstar Pacific to provide more seat during this season. And on VN's A321s, they do have Business Class, so Jetstar Pacific operates that class.
Now let's dive into the script report :D
My journey started at Terminal 1, Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City.
This time, I would fly on flight BL740 to Hanoi. This flight would be departed at 5:45 am, and is the earliest flight departed from SGN to HAN of Jetstar Pacific.
After I entered the terminal, I went to the check-in area of Jetstar Pacific to check my luggage, and ask for upgrade to Business Class. During this time, Jetstar Pacific allows you to upgrade to Business Class on flights using A321 aircrafts at the airport. And the price for the upgrade is really cheap: only 11 dollars (250.000 đ). Quite cheap, isn't it?
After my upgrade had been approved and I got the paper boarding pass, I went upstairs and headed to the security check. After about 10 minutes, I made into the airside, and headed to the gate.
The gates for this flight were gate 1 and 2. Both of them are bus gates.
After sitting and waiting for a short amount of time, boarding was called, and I got on the bus in order to get to the aircraft.
We finally arrived the place where the aircraft parked after quite a long ride from the terminal. The registration of this A321 is VN-A353, and it was 12.4 years old. Like I said before, this aircraft was transfer from Vietnam Airlines to Jetstar just for the summer season, that is why the aircraft still has Vietnam Airlines' livery.
My seat on this flight was 2G, and this is a recliner seat.
This Business Class seat of VN is the 1st generation of recliner on A321 (and we are now at the 3rd generation), so it looks quite outdated and old-fashioned.
Legroom was humongous. No surprise for Business Class ;)
And we also had footrest.
On the left side of the seat, we had an AVOD controller.
And a cup holder.
On the right side, we had a foldable tray table, which located inside the armrest.
Furthermore, the headrest can be adjusted, but it was quite loose when we adjusted that.
Overall, even though the seat was quite outdated, it still brings comforts to passengers.
Boarding was done, and the aircraft was taxiing to the runway for take-off.
Take-off
Because I sat in the Business Class cabin, so in this flight, I got a free snack and drink. The snack was coconut and honey coated cashew, and the drink was just water in a small bottle.
The cashew tasted super delicious. I just wished that the packet had more cashew nuts, since the amount of nuts in that packet was really small.
On the seat pocket, we had: a sickness bag, a safety card, a Jetstar Pacific's inflight magazine which included the menu inside, and an advertisement card.
The 2nd round of selling food onboard was started 25 minutes after the 1st one. And this time, I decided to buy a cup of hot milk tea with a price of about $1.5 (30.000 đ).
The view outside the window was just simply georgeous :)

After about 1 hour and 40 minutes in the air, the aircraft was descended and prepared to land.

And welcome to Terminal 1, Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi. From here, I started my come back home journey.
I can say this flight is one of my most impressive flights I've ever had. Having a Business Class experience on a LCC flight was such an unique experience. And paying 11 dollars for upgrade to have experiences like that was totally worth it.
