Hi guys. Welcome to my next report on Flight-Report. Today, I will fly with Vietnam Airlines from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City on Business Class on Airbus A350 of Vietnam Airlines. But first, please check out my trip report about this flight on YouTube. This video is more detailed than the script version on Flight-Report and has more special things there, so I hope you guys will check out, like the video and support to my channel by subscribe Vinavia on YouTube :D
And here is the script report. Hope you guys will enjoy :D
Today's flight would start at Terminal 1, Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi.

Today, I would fly on flight VN267 to Ho Chi Minh City, and the estimated departure time would be 6.30 pm. This time, I decided to upgrade to Business Class on Optiontown, which is a website that Vietnam Airlines uses to help passengers to upgrade to Business Clas or Premium Economy.

I went to the priority check-in counter for Business Class passengers, and I had a bad experience there. The check-in employee, she told me not to go to the priority check-in area since my ticket was just an upgraded ticket to Business Class, and next time I must gop to the normal check-in area. I understood that but the way she told me was very rude and unacceptable. It's like I'm not enough high-class and rich to enter the VIP check-in area.

After having a bad check-in procedure, I went to the security check area. This time, I could enter the priority lane for Business Class.

The security check procedure was fast thanks to the priority lane for Business Class passengers, and I entered the airside soon after that. Because my upgrade did not include the lounge entrance, so I could not go the the lounge this time.

The gate for this flight was gate 8, and I would board through the jetbridge for Business Class passengers.

Boarding

The aircraft for this flight has the registration of VN-A886, and it was 4.5 years old. This Business Class cabin is in alternating 1-2-1 configuration, with 29 Stelia Solstys seats.

My seat on this flight was 5A.

Legroom of this seat was tremendous.

Welcome drink, and cold towel were served after boarding. For drink, I chose a cup of apple juice.

Let's have a look at the seat interiors :)

Tray table

Literature pocket and reading light

USB port and a small storage space are under the armrest

Universal power socket

Seat control and inflight entertainment control

A 15.4 inches personal screen

Coat hook

And another literature pocket located under the tray table.

There were also a blanket and headphones placed at the seat.
In my opinion, compared to the newer reverse-herringbone seats on B787s and newer A350s, it's a bit lack of privacy and not so spacious.
View from my window, and cabin view from my seat.

Menu for flights between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City at all times of the day was handed out before pushback and taxi.

And this was the menu for this flight.

25 minutes after boarding, the aircraft started to pushback and taxiing, and safety video was screened.

Take-off

After take-off, I took a look at the IFE system on this flight. There were plentiful of movies and TV shows on this IFE system. However, the contents weren't really updated, and most of the movies are Vietnamese.

15 minutes after take-off, dinner was served.

For main course, I choose Beef Goulash with Parsley potatoes and Vegetables.

Appetizer: Fresh vegetable salad.

Desert: Fresh fruits such as dragonfruit, watermelon and cantaloupe.

A bread roll and a slice of garlic bread

Salad dressing, butter for the bread, and chili sauce.

For drink, I asked for a cup of orange juice.

Overall, the meal was really spot on, especially the main course, and it was really amazing to get this big full meal like this on dinner time for a short domestic flight.

In the seat pocket, I had: a safety card, two inflight magazines of Vietnam Airlines called Heritage and Heritage Fashion, and an inflight entertainment catalogue called LotuStar.

After the meal, I want to the lavatory for Business Class' passengers, and I must say this lavatory was really clean and well equipped. It also smelled really nice.

Cabin view

I went back to the seat, and I tried the Bed Mode, which converted the seat into 180 degrees lie-flat bed. This seat was an aisle-window seat, so it wasn't truly private, but in terms of comfort, I'm satisfied with this seat.

When the aircraft prepared for landing, hot towel & a cup of water were served before landing.

After about 90 minutes flying, the aircraft was started to descend and prepared to land.

Landing

Disembarkation

My journey had ended at Domestic Terminal, Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City. Thank you for reading and watching, and see you in the next report :D

For a newly cabin and aircraft, I find VN's cabin rather dull looking and these seat colours are pretty off that it seems like a very old cabin... Thought they had to improve that to more colourful seats like dark blue perhaps? Thanks for sharing!
Well, yes. The color of the Business Class on old A350s compared to B787s and newer A350s is sure a bit off. Bút can not be blue because that's the theme color of Economy Class, so the Business Class has to be green and yellow.
Nice report!!!!
Thank you for your support ?
Hi Vinavia, thanks for sharing a lovely report as always! Nice to have the A350 on a domestic flight.
p.s. Your conclusion is in French, looks like you may have forgotten to translate it.
Yeah. I will correct it right now. Thank you for pointing it out ?
