San Jose to Portland on Toy Story 4

Hello!
On January 5, 2020, I returned home after visiting my hometown in California. I flew from San Jose (SJC/KSJC) to Portland (PDX/KPDX) onboard Alaska Airlines. I was on AS302/ASA302 operated by N589AS, the B738 with the Toy Story 4 livery. This was my first time on an Alaska Boeing 737-800 since September 2018, so I was really excited to be on one again. In addition, the airplane was also a special livery representing a movie from one of my favorite series. Because this flight was in the morning, I didn't have many pictures as the lighting was very bad.

Took this picture not long before boarding began. FlightRadar24 did not show this aircraft had the Toy Story 4 livery anymore so I was really glad that I can still confirm that this airplane still has the livery.

Just as I was about to enter the plane.

This was taken shortly after takeoff. There was really bad lighting, so I couldn't get a better picture.

After climbing up to about 15,000 ft, I took another photo. This is a somewhat better picture.

I love Biscoff cookies and apple juice! These would be my usuals.

During descent into Portland. You can already notice the usual weather of Portland….cloudy.

Shortly after landing and parking at Gate C11. We parked next to an A21N!

Conclusion

Overall, the flight was really enjoyable. I was able to be on an Alaska B738 for the first time since September 2018, and the plane happened to be in the Toy Story 4 livery. I loved looking out the window and seeing Forky waving at me from the winglet. San Jose Airport (SJC/KSJC) was also very clean and efficient as everything happened quickly to the point where I was able to explore the whole airport (excluding the Southwest gates) and get back to my gate just in time to board. The flight was also very turbulent during cruise. There were a couple of times when even the flight attendants had to take their seats. The transition from a clear San Jose to the rainy and cloudy Portland was pretty depressing because I love the Bay Area weather. Nonetheless, the flight was just how I would expect Alaska Airlines to perform, and they did not disappoint.
