Hello!
Welcome to this flight report taken back in March 2016. I believe this aircraft is still the same layout as it was back in 2016.
In this short report I will be flying from New York's JFK airport on board a Delta Boeing 767-300ER to London Heathrow.
Lets begin!
After a great week in New York and exploring parts of New Jersey, I headed to JFK airport for the over night flight home.
Back in 2016 I didn't really think about taking many photos inside the terminal.

Cold March evening I spent my last moments looking at the giant concrete jungle of NYC.
After that I then headed over to JFK airport for my flight home.
Had a quick bite to eat from Wendy's, got dropped off at departures and headed through security to the gate.
Soon as I arrived I spotted my home for the next 7 hours.
Delta Airlines Boeing 767-300ER aged 17 years young as off this flight.

I noticed quiet a lot off damage to the front off the fuselage when boarding.
This 767-300ER is laid out in economy 2-3-2 seating configuration.
Boarding went smoothly with a quick door closure for departure, or that I thought.

Whilst waiting for passing aircraft's taxing past I noticed A Boeing 747-400M in the livery of KLM Airlines.
This special plane is half cargo and half passenger. You can see ground crew loading up for its flight back home in Amsterdam.
After waiting for a little while, we made our push back and onto the runway taking off into the night sky.

Not long after leveling out the crew began the evening meal service.
The main meal was a chicken ratatouille which was quite spicy. I can handle a little spice so it was decent to eat.
For the sides I was given a little tub off mixed lettuce, tomato and Caesar dressing.
Also a bread roll, cheese/ crackers and a cinnamon brownie for dessert.

After meal service and watching a few movies I decided to join the other passengers and sleep during the last remaining hours off the flight.
I left my window shutter open to look at the moon which was shining bright, I managed to see a few shooting stars!

Few hours pasted I managed to sleep quite well.
Woke up to seeing the moon still shining as the sun began to rise.

Soon as everyone woke up, the crew began to serve the morning breakfast meal before landing.
Not a lot on offer, but it was good enough.
I was offered a little box with "BON APPETIT" printed on which is a nice little touch to detail.
Inside the box was a little square blueberry muffin and vanilla flavoured Greek Yogurt.
The crew also handed out a little Biscoff cookie and a slice of medium cheddar cheese….YUM YUM! :D
Hot tea and Minute Maid orange juice was also given with a Mentos Mint complimenting the meal.
Also to mention, Delta offered free WIFI onboard which sadly didn't work.

Its now almost time to land into London Heathrow, the moon is still out!
I quickly went to the toilet before the seatbelt sign came on.
The little wall picture Delta has printed did make me laugh!

Whilst flicking through the IFE I found Delta has information on aircraft's they own.
We began to descend over Bristol and circled over Chelmsford.

Soon enough it was our time to land, we flew over east London, then central and onto runway 27R.
Softly touching down onto the runway we made a quick exit towards the gate and parked up next to a Virgin Atlantic A330-300.

I waited until the plane was empty so I can get a good look around the cabin.
Seating was the plastic feel material and extremely uncomfortable, left me with back pain for days after.

One flight attendant kindly asked permission from the pilots to show me the cockpit before leaving.
What a fantastic way to end the flight and my week trip!

That was it, my first flight on a Boeing 767-300 and with Delta ended.
Overall I was very pleased with the flight and service provided.
The cabin crew and pilot acted very professionally and greeted me with many warm welcomes.
If I was to change anything it would be the seating. It was so uncomfortable.
It would be okay for a flight off 2 hours but not for a long haul 6 hours +
I look forward to my next flight with Delta someday, maybe on a domestic US flight? We shall see :)
Have you flown with Delta before or the 767?
Please do leave a comment on the experience you had!
Due to the outbreak off Coronavirus (as of this report publishing),
I will not be booking any future flights until the situation has cleared up.
Although I do have two flights booked for July to Barbados with Virgin Atlantic if all things go well.
Good news! within the next upcoming weeks I have a further six reports in the making. Look out for them.
So until then,
keep flying and smiling :)
P.S
I wish everyone who has contracted the illness my best wishes and a speedy recovery!

Hi Danny, thanks for sharing this "throwback" report on DL! These Covid-19 Quarantine times are a good time for us flight-reporters to catch up on yet-unpublished reports or dig up pics from the archives. The 763 cabins were still looking fresh and new back in 2016...not so much anymore.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks KévinDC! it sure is, I have atleast 8 flight reports in the making. that is a shame hopfully they will get a good clean up whilst in storage.
