The next morning after my arrival into Hong Kong, business seemed to carefully resume and I am able to find some breakfast, decent lunch. Sogo Tsim Sha Tsui is also opened (altough a bit later than usual). Note the repairing work is in progress around the town.
Shortly after my lunch, the police and firefighter is present in the area. So, I think I might as well go to airport early , just to be on a safe side.
I checked in at Airport Express Station, obtain boarding pass and got on my way. You may notice that some train service is closing
I arrive HKIA and found extra screening before getting into terminal, which did not take much time
I proceed pass EVA check in counter, which is empty, to immigration clearance area. Surprisingly, I am not able to find fast track or express service for Business Class passenger. But that is not a problem at all. There is no queue at the immigration and took me less than a minute to get my passport stamped out.
It took me sometime to find the lounge - Hong Kong Airlines Lounge which is one level down the Gate area. Despite the current situation going on, HKIA is still busy and full of activities.
The Lounge is quite fine, nothing fancy, not too crowded, comfortable seat with accessible power outlet. A Qantas 787 is right by the window
Food spread is a bit limited,but there are noodle made to order. And I am surprise to find that those foods on offer are very - very tasty
It might look bland, but it is not!
I hang around in the lounge reading until boarding time. To my relief, HKIA airport operation is not interrupted so far.

I was directed to my seat. Once I was there, it's just wow! I have done my homework and know what the seat looks like. But being there and seeing all the nice detail is just impressive. I love these seat, so practical and comfortable
Literature and a pillow is already there, blanket can be requested. No slipper is handed out in this flight, which is not really necessary.
The Purser (or flight manager? I am not sure) comes to introduce herself to the passengers. She even know the nationality of each passenger and greet me in Thai. Menu is handed out together with welcome drink/ hot towel. Again, I looked it up in advance and already booked my food choice. They take order of drinks and determined to get this full service done seamlessly withing one and a half hour
We were pushed back, cabin light dimmed for take off. Love the interface of IFE as well as the nice "star" on the ceiling
When the seat belt sign is off, crew team start "Light Dinner" service almost immediately. Table cloth is lovely, my pre-ordered fish is delivered first, as well as the wine I asked for before take off.
A bit of rest before landing. Not enough time for a real rest, but I can be easily comfortable on this seat
I assume that the service procedure is completed, but no. They still have another hot towel for us.

When I return to my seat, they are offering us assortment of candies in preparation for landing. Such an attentive and detailed service!
We start descending slightly laterward. Since it is quite dark, I could not take much photo. Anyway, our arrival is swift, Immigration is quick, I got to Airport Express in no time.
All in all, I found EVA to be another favorite Airlines. The hardware are great, tasty food, and nice, professional crews. They truly deserve fives stars status. Given that they are also a star alliance member, I would certainly fly them again, probably as a top three carrier of my choice.
