Hi guys. Welcome to my next report on Flight-Report. Today, I will fly with Vietjet Air from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi on Airbus A320. But first, please check out my trip report about this flight on YouTube. This video is more detailed than the script version on Flight-Report and has more special things there, so I hope you guys will check out, like the video and support to my channel by subscribe Vinavia on YouTube :D
And here is the script report. Hope you guys will enjoy :D
Today's flight would start at Domestic Terminal, Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City.

Let's head to departure hall of Vietjet Air at the terminal.

Departure hall, which was pretty crowded at that time.

Today, I would fly on flight VJ190 to Hanoi, and the estimated departure time would be 2.05 pm.

I already did online check-in, so I went directly to security check.

Security check was fast, and 5 minutes later, I got into airside.

Now let's go to departure gate of this flight.

Here was the departure gate of this flight: gate 21, and this is the bus gate.

Boarding was called, and I got on the bus to get to the aircraft.

This was the aircraft for today's flight, which was an Airbus A320 with the registration of VN-A691, and it was 9.5 years old. It's pretty interesting to see this plane doesn't have Vietjet Air's livery.

Boarding

Here was my seat on this flight: seat 16A.

Legroom was quite decent, and not a problem to me on this flight.

25 minutes after boarding, the aircraft started to pushback and taxied to the runway.

Take-off

In the seat pocket, I had: a safety card, a menu, and an inflight magazine of Vietjet Air named one2FLY.

In the menu, there are plentiful of hot meals plus snacks and drinks to choose. Some hot meals are available to pre-order online, but I always ask the crew 1st to know if other hot meals options are available onboard.

15 minutes after take-off, buy-on-board services were started.

And these were what I bought on this flight.

I bought a portion of nasi lemak costs 70.000 đ (about $3)

For drink, I bought a box of Milo drink costs 30.000đ (over $1)

Nasi lemak tasted really delicious, and with Milo, it becomes such a perfect couple for an authentic Malaysian style meal.

View from my window, and cabin view from my seat during the flight.

Let's have a look at the lavatory in the back of the cabin. This lavatory was quite basic, yet really clean. Not bad for a low-cost airline.

Cabin view

OMG. When I got back to the seat, I saw a very disturbing scene: A foot with a sock with a hole on my armrest. Unbelievable!

Good thing that I still kept a fork from the meal earlier lmao ;)

After nearly 90 minutes in the air, the aircraft started to descend and prepared for landing.

Landing

Disembarkation

My journey had ended at Terminal 1, Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi. Thank you for reading and watching, and see you in the next report :D

Hi Vinavia, I think there’s an error. The text mentions that this is a TAROM to TBS flight but that was the last one ?
I just fixed it. Thank you for pointing it out :)
No problem ?
The Nasi Lemak looks really good. Thank goodness you'd already eaten before the holy-sock experience! Disgusting!
Thanks for sharing!
Oh absolutely lmao XD
It's absolutely unnecessary and very selfish of that traveller to put his foot up there..... I hope you told him to retract his foot!

Thanks for sharing!
You're absolutely right. Actaully I didn't told him to retract his foot, but I used my weapon :D
Thank you for sharing this report. Good to see a head on comparison of the various products offered in Vietnam: $4 for Nasi lemak and Milo?! Solid deal! And here in the states it is $8 for a depressing breakfast sandwich.... Pity the person sticking their foot up: they had to face the wrath of your fork I guess :)
To be honest, with the price standard here in Vietnam, $4 for a meal is totally expensive lmao ?
