Arriving at Airport

After finishing work, I returned to airport by train around 5.30p.m. View of Domestic - Qantas and Virgin Terminal.

Check-in

I was carrying only workbag and check-in staff looked at my carryon and handed me the boarding pass.

Security queue was short within few minutes was in the departure area.

Dinner

With time to spare, I headed to Hungry Jacks for meal before boarding.

After dinner, spotted the Australia's domestic fleet

Brisbane Domestic has common departure area for all airlines.

Waiting for Boarding Call

Virgin crew arriving  to operate the flight.

Passengers had gathered around the gate area before boarding call.

Aircraft ready to accept passenger. Boarding call was made. Boarding was through the aerobridge.

OnBoard

Boarding card was checked before allowed to proceed to aircraft. Queue had formed at the door as crew checked the boarding card and directing passengers.

Inflight Entertainment

Inflight entertainment on board was pay and use. Credit card had to be swiped to activate the IFE, which allowed 10 mins free view.

Pushback and Departure

Pushback commenced in few minutes after boarding. Crew demonstrated safety procedure manually and conducted pre-departure checks. Departure was from runway 01R.

After departure flew close to Gold Coast, heading South towards Sydney. Crew began service with Buy on Board. As I had early meal, skipped the service.

Arrival in Sydney

Short flight between Brisbane and Sydney. Captain informed crew that descend would commence soon to prepare cabin for landing.

Light were turned on. Approach towards Sydney was from South, landing on runway 34L. Watch arrival video above.

Disembarkation

After landing and a short taxing arrived at the gate. Stairs were connected for disembarkation. Disembarked through the rear stairs

Exiting Airport

After disembarking, headed towards the exit, with no bags to collect. I went to domestic train station to catch train home.
